Your photographer is the person you'll have the most intimate relationship with. From the beginning of your beauty prep, to the final toast at the reception, that person will be just steps away from you and your beloved.
Your wedding photos will be the memoire of your special day and live on for generations, you'll want them to accurately capture not only the activities of your event, but, most importantly, the EMOTION in the air: the happiness, the tears cried, the laughter, the connections.
For that to happen, you'll need both a highly qualified professional, and a human you strongly connect with.
MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
I am not a cookie-cutter photographer. Photography is my life-long passion and I perfect my art on an ongoing basis. With a unique style and an eye for details, my standards for my work are extremely high.
I describe my style as fine art, elegant,
classic and romantic.
I use natural light whenever possible.
There is no other source of light that can compete with the vibrancy of natural light.

The experience I offer my clients is so much more than the photos. I see myself as a vessel. My job is to translate YOUR beautiful wedding day into memories you’ll cherish for decades to come. In order to do that:

I want to know who you are as a couple, how you met, what you enjoy together, what you envision for you wedding celebration ahead of time.
I want to feel and breathe the day in unison with you (that's where being an empath comes in handy).

You sign the contract and pay a 50% deposit.
We meet for 30+ minutes to make sure we're a fit and to decide on a package that best fits your needs.
From the day of the booking until your wedding day, I guide you through the planning process and stay in touch as often as needed. I’ve got you!

You’ve put SO much time and effort into planning your wedding. This is your time to relax, enjoy and have a blast! I’ll be there every step of the way. Literally! I’ll follow you around to capture ALL the magical moments.
If you've booked an engagement session, we start planning this ASAP. Timing, location, outfits. All the fun! You receive your online gallery within 4 weeks.
I send you sneak peaks within 48 hours of your wedding. Your full online wedding gallery then arrives 8-10 weeks later. Cue the happy tears :)

What is the wedding photography investment?
Wedding photography collections start at $3900 and are customized based on my couple’s needs. Schedule a consultation for more information.
We are shy in front of the camera. Can you help?
Yes! I am awkward and silly in front of the camera myself, but I have tips for that. The engagement session will give us time to get to know each other and you both comfortable with me as your photographer!
How far in advance should we book?
Normally 6-12 months. But if your wedding is coming up sooner than that, email me ASAP at love@vanjamarkovic.com with the wedding details and we’ll figure it out together :)
How many photographers will be present at our wedding?
That depends on the size of your wedding. I work with professional second/third photographers and assistants.
Do you offer destination wedding and elopEment packages?
